附加問句文法

為詢問對方訊息或尋求對方認同的簡短問句，尾音上揚的為真問句，尾音下降的為尋求對方認可。

附加問句文法口訣

1.前面肯定後面否定；前面否定後面肯定

 

2.前後時態一致

3.主詞一定要是代名詞

4.否定必須要縮寫

大致又可以分為 be 動詞句   一般動詞句  助動詞句   祈使句

附加問句BE動詞句型

 

哪個BE動為直述句，則哪個BE動形成疑問句 (特定主詞除外)

例: She is a girl, isn't she?   Sally and Cindy are happy, aren't they?

附加問句一般動詞句型

一般動詞形成疑問句需借助動詞 do  does(現在式三單) did (過去式)

例:Peter goes to school every day, does he?

    They moved to Taipei two years ago, didn't they?

附加問句助動詞句型

直述句中有哪個助動詞使用該助動詞形成副加問句

例: Lily can cook , can't she?  We shouldn't smoke, should we?

     Coco will come home early, won't she?

     She didn't go to cram school, did she? (此句也可視為一般動詞句之否定)

祈使句附加問句句型

 

祈使句為原形動詞省略主詞第二人稱(you)的句子，不管肯定或否定皆使用will you.

記法為:祈使句本身就是命令或請求聽話者做該動作，因此動作還沒發生，因此使用未來式，主詞為you這應該都知道的。

Please open the door for me, will you?

Don't stand there, will you?

有邀請對方的祈使句如:Have a cup of coffee, won't you?

此have要翻成喝或吃~吧邀請對方來吃(喝)點什麼東西

希望對方say yes 不要拒絕,一樣還沒發生使用否定未來式

附加問句Let's 和Let us 的差別

Let's 本身有邀請對方一起做某事的意思 's 和let是連著的所以連在一起

因此使用邀請的客氣語 shall we?

 

注意主詞是we,所以表示對方和自己兩個人(或以上)

如: Let's dance, shall we?

Let us 本身可以看成 You let us do something. 你讓我做某事

Let 是使役動詞，所以是對方讓自己做某事，只有自己做

因此 Let us play computer game, will you?

 

(看成一般祈使句RV動詞開頭省略主詞you)

 Let's not go out, OK 或All right?

附加問句文法重要概念

1.am 與not 不可以縮寫，因此需使用 am I not or aren't I

2.句中有否定意味的字時，該句視為否定句，附加問句需為肯定

如:not/no/nothing/seldom/never/ hardly/ little /few

3.直述句主詞為there 時，以there 形成附加問句的主詞

4.不定詞( TO VR)or 動名詞(V-ing)為首的句子視為一件事情，因此主詞為it

 

5.有連接詞連接兩個句子時，以主要子句形成附加問句

常見的連接詞有when if because after before

有連接詞的那句為附屬子句，沒有連接詞的那句為主要子句

若句子中有副詞子句(有用before, after, when, if,….連接的句子)，附加問句以主要子句   (沒有before, after, when, if,….連接的句子)為主。

 When I got home, my mother was cooking, wasn’t she ?

例:If you go home , your mother will give you a cake, won't she?

6.nothing , everything, something 等主詞視為事物一律使用it當主詞

 

7.everyone , nobody, someone, somebody, anyone, anybody等主詞為人，一律使用they當代名詞

8.the baby 看不出性別因此代名詞為it

9. 以I , We (第一人稱) + think / guess / believe起首的句子若有that引導名詞子句，附加問句以that所引導的名詞子句( S2+V2 )為主。

 I thought you were joking,weren’t you?

 10. 但以 You,… (第二、三人稱) + think / guess / believe起首的句子若有that引導名詞子句，附加問句以S1+V1為主

 They thought Mary was joking, did they?

 11. 複合句時，若主要句子包含名詞子句或是從屬子句時，附加問句以主要句子( S1 + V1)為主。
