Have 在英文裡有很多的詞性與用法，更可以搭配其他名詞產生其他意思。以下為大家整理一下比較常見的have的使用方法

 have當助動詞 

 

1. （加過去分詞，構成完成時態）已經；曾經    have/has +p.p. 

I haven’t finished the homework yet. 我還沒完成回家作業。 

I have studied English for six years. 

I haven't heard from him since last year. 我自去年以來都沒有他的消息。 

2. （用於假設語氣，表示與過去事實相反的假設）（假如那時）……的話 

If I had had enough money, I would have married you. 

如果當時我有足夠的錢，我是會和你結婚。 

用過去完成式表示與過去事實相反的假設，代表我當時沒有足夠的錢，否則我早就和你結婚了。雖然沒有指出時間點，但從時態就可以知道它所表達的是已經過去的「當時」

 have 當vt.及物動詞

 1. 有，擁有(無正在進行式) 

She has three sons. 她有三個兒子。

 2. 懷有，持有 

Many people have doubts about the news. 許多人對這則新聞有懷疑。

 3. 體驗；經驗；患 

We had a wonderful time on the beach. 我們在海灘上玩得好極了。 

have fun 

ph. 讓自己開心, 玩得高興 

We had lots of fun at the picnic. 我們在這次野餐中玩得很痛快。 

ph. 玩得不高興 

They had a bad time because of the bad weather. 因為壞天氣他們玩得不高興。

  4. 拿；得到，取得 

 

We gave him a present, but he wouldn't have it. 我們給他一件禮物，但他不肯接受。 

have had it 

ph. 將得不到或享受不到某事物 

If he was hoping for a lift home I'm afraid he has had it. 他要是想搭乘便車回家, 我看是吹了。 

have in mind 

ph. 想要; 想到 

I don't know whom he has in mind for the job. 我不知道他想讓誰來做這項工作。 

5. 進行，從事（某事）

 The manager is having a meeting. 經理正在開會。 

6. 吃；喝；吸（菸） 

 

They had their lunch in a cafeteria. 他們在一家自助餐廳吃了午飯。 

Have a cup of coffee, please. 請喝杯咖啡。 

7. 邀請（某人），招待[O] 

We had some guests for dinner last night. 我們昨晚請了幾位客人吃飯。 

8. （用於否定句中）容忍；允許 

I won't have anyone smoking in here. 我不容許任何人在這裡抽菸。 

9. 生得，生育 

My wife is going to have a baby. 我妻子快要生孩子了。

 10. 使，讓；招致 (使役動詞) A have B VR(p.p.) 

Pa's had his hands burned. 爸的手給燙傷了。 

I've had the stove lighted. 我已經讓人把爐子點著了。 

I'll be proud to have you read it. 你肯讀它我會感到驕傲的。 

My mother has me do my homework. 我母親叫我寫作業。 

12. 必須，不得不[+to-v] 

I have to go right now. 我馬上得走。 

13. 【俚】哄騙，欺騙 

They were had in that deal. 他們在那筆生意上受了騙。 

14. 明白，懂得 

I guess I have your ideas. 我想我明白你的意思。 

15. 富人；富國 

The gap between the haves and the have-nots is widening. 貧富之間的差距在擴大。

You had him there. 這下子你把他給制住了。 

have got to  ph. (表示義務或責任)不得不, 只得 

 

I have got to go to work by bus tomorrow. 我明天得坐公共汽車去上班。

 Why have you got to take these tablets? 你為什麼要吃這些藥片? 

have green fingers  ph. 擅長園藝 

I never have green fingers. 我向來不擅長種花草。 

have a picnic   ph. 去(舉行)野餐 

We had a picnic in the park yesterday afternoon. 我們昨天下午在公園裡舉行野餐。

 have difficulty in  ph. 在...有困難 

You will have difficulty in finding a good lodging house in the city. 你想在這個城市裡找到一家好公寓是很困難的。

 have trouble in  ph. 做某事有麻煩 

Mr. Chen was having more and more trouble selling in his fruit. 陳先生賣水果時, 遇到越來越多的麻煩。 

have sth. back  ph. 收回(被借走、偷走等之)某物 

Let me have it back soon. 早些把東西還給我。 

You can have your files back after we've checked them. 等我們檢查完你的文件就退還給你。

 have no choice but to VR  ph. 別無選擇 

He had no choice but to take the job. 他別無選擇, 只得接受那項工作。 

have no option   ph. 沒有選擇的餘地 

You must do it; you have no option. 你必須做, 你沒有選擇的餘地。 

have no alternative but   ph. 除...外別無選擇

 We have no alternative but to dismiss you. 我們只好辭退你, 別無其他辦法。  

have no idea  ph. 不知道; 無能力 

He has no idea how to manage people. 他根本不知道如何做人事工作。 

have a spree  ph. 狂歡作樂 

We are having a spree tonight. 今晚我們準備痛痛快快地樂一樂。 

have it out   ph. 徹底解決 

I can't go on like this. I'm going to have it out with this problem this afternoon. 

我不能繼續像這樣了。今天下午我要把問題給解決掉。

 walls have ears   ph. 隔牆有耳 

Walls have ears, you know. 要知道, 隔牆有耳。 

have ... in common   ph. 在...(如興趣、經驗等)有共同之處

 have done with   ph. 不再做某事物; 與某人/某事物再無關係

 have designs on  ph. 企圖傷; 企圖將...為己有

 She has designs on his money. 她覬覦他的錢財。 

He has designs on her. 他對她存心不良。 

have its moments   ph. 【口】有快樂的時候 

My job is not a very glamorous one but it does have its moments. 

我的工作雖不算十分吸引人, 但也自有其樂趣所在。 

have broad shoulders   ph. 可負重任 

He won't mind taking up more responsibility. He has broad shoulders. 他不會計較多擔些責任。他是個可負重任之人。 

If you want to tell me your trouble, I have broad shoulders. 如果你想把你的煩惱告訴我, 我樂意分擔。 

have an eyeful   ph. 【口】一飽眼福, 大開眼界, 好好看一下

 Come and have an eyeful of this -- there's a giraffe in the garden! “快來看哪－－花園裡有隻長頸鹿!”

have an ear for  ph. 對...聽覺靈敏; 對...有鑑賞力 

She has a very good ear for music. 她很有音感。 

have an eye to  ph. 照看; 留意; 注意; 提防 

He always has an eye to business. 他總是找機會做生意。 

have an eye to when the gas runs out 留意煤氣什麼時候用完 

have an eye for  ph. 對...有鑑賞目光; 具有識別...價值的能力; 很能看出

 He has an eye for a bargain. 他識便宜貨。

 My father has always an eye for jewel. 我父親一向能辨別真假珠寶。 

have the face  ph. 【口】厚顏, 竟然有臉或膽敢(做某事) 

I don't know how you have the face to do such a thing. 我真不知道你怎麼能如此厚顏, 做出這種事來。 

have confidence in  ph. 對…有堅定的信心 

I have confidence in the justice of his position on these questions. 我相信他在這些問題上的立場是公正的。 

have a heart   ph. 【美】【口】(常用於祈使句)發慈悲; 做好事 

Have a heart and give me another chance. 發發慈悲, 再給我一次機會。 

have hollow legs  ph. 【英】【謔】胃口很大 

have been around   ph. 有見識; 有閱歷(尤指性事) 

He pretends he has been around but he's really very immature. 他裝作老於世故, 而實際上卻很不成熟。 

You won't fool her -- she has been around, you know. 你騙不到她的－－你要知道她是情場老手。 

have recourse to   

 ph. 【文】求助於某人/某事物, 獲得來自某人/某事物的援助 

The sick man had recourse to drugs to lessen his pain. 病人靠藥來減輕痛苦。

 have that coming   ph. 肯定; 活該

 It was no surprise when he was sent to prison -- everyone knew he had it coming to him.

 果不其然他進了監獄－－大家都清楚(他)得有這麼一天。 

have precedence over   ph. 優先於; 地位高於 

This is a problem that has precedence over the others. 這個問題比其他的更為重要。 

have ... to oneself   ph. 可獨自使用某人/某物, 得以獨享

 With my parents away I have the house to myself. 由於我父母不在, 我可以獨自享用這所房子。
