=Ving is not adj at all

=It is not adj. at all to VR.

There is nothing interesting in making preparations for the party.

=Making preparations for the party is not interesting at all.

=It's not interesting at all to make preparations for the party.(準備派對一點也不有趣。)

not at all 一點也不，用於虛主詞開頭的句子中(It is adj. to VR)，又not只能放於be動詞之後，於是成了It is not adj. at all to VR.的句型，又虛主詞的句子可與動名詞互換。

There is nothing sad in losing the game.(輸了這場比賽根本沒有什麼好難過的。)

=Losing the game is not sad at all.

=It is not sad at all to lose the game.
