原級比較文法

在形容詞比較級中，亦有一種名為原級比較的比較級文法，兩者比較對象，互相不分軒輊，分不出高下時，便能使用此文法。

同級比較句型

主詞+Be動詞/連綴動詞+as+原級形容詞+as+比較對象。

I am as tall as Mary. 我和瑪莉一樣高。

as...as...和什麼一樣。既無比較出高下，中間所放置的形容詞必須為「原級」形容詞。

主詞+動詞+as+原級副詞+as+比較對象。

I ran as fast as Mary.我和瑪莉跑一樣快。

He is not as tall as Mark. 他不如Mark 高。

這杯奶茶沒有紅茶好喝。The milk tea is not as yummy as the black tea.

他跑得沒有我快。 He doesn't run as fast as I do.

Kate和John一樣強壯。Kate is as strong as John.

這枝筆和桌上那枝筆一樣長。This pen is as long as the pen on the desk.

這名歌手與那名演員一樣有名。 The singer is as famous as the actor.

這塊蛋糕嚐起來與那塊蛋糕一樣好吃。This cake tastes as delicious as that cake.

這杯牛奶看起來和那杯水一樣多。This milk looks as much as the water.

我和你吃的一樣多，但我還是覺得餓。I ate as much as you did, but I still hungry.

Frank is 180 cm tall. I am 170 cm tall. Judy is 160 cm tall. Leon is 170 cm tall.

There were as many as 2000 people in the train. 火車上多達2000多人
