副詞的用法 

副詞是修飾動詞、形容詞、另一個副詞，或全句的語詞。 

修飾一般動詞 

He ran fast.(他跑得快) fast修飾動詞ran. 

 

They sometimes play basketball together. sometimes 為頻率修飾動詞play 

Mary drives slowly. (Mary 開車慢) slpwly 修飾drives 

修飾形容詞、副詞 

The waiter is very polite.(服務生很有禮貌) very 修飾形容詞polite

Amy speaks English very well. very 修飾副詞well 

修飾句子 

Clearly, his attitude is good. (很明顯地，他的態度是好的) clearly修飾整個句子

almost(幾乎)		 be 後動前，修飾動詞 1.We are almost late for school.
(我們幾乎要上學遲到了)
2.He still don't know the reason.
(他仍然不知道理由)
only (只有)

even(甚至)		 放在欲加重語氣的
字詞或片語前		 1.Cindy only ate one bowl of rice today.
(Cindy今天只吃一碗飯)
2.I just don't want to go out with you.
(我只是不想跟你出去)

very 修飾原級形容詞 He goes to school early every day. (他每天早到學校)

 

even/much 修飾比較級 He goes to school much earlier than I every day.( 他每天比我早到校) 

其他常用的程度副詞有 far, almost, completely, nearly, rather(相當)等。 

主格A be動詞 特定副詞 形容詞比較級＋than 主格B.
The orange is a bit（有點）、
a little（少許）、
a lot（許多）、
far（很）、
even（甚至更）、
much（……得多）、 still（仍然）		 cheaper than the strawberry.

修飾比較級的副詞 

情狀副詞的位置 

不及物動詞+情狀副詞 

Linda slept deeply last night. Linda 昨晚睡得很熟。 

 

及物動詞+受詞+情狀副詞=情狀副詞+及物動詞+受詞

I play the guitar happily.= I happily play the guitar. 

不及物動詞+介係詞+情狀副詞=不及物動詞+情狀副詞+介係詞 

I waited for the CEO patiently.= I waited patiently for the CEO.

be動詞+分詞+情狀副詞=be動詞+情狀副詞+分詞 

We are singing loudly.=We are loudly singing.(我們大聲地唱歌) 

詢問情感及狀態的疑問詞使用How 

How was the cake made? It was made well. 

地方副詞 

表示動作之場所，通常置於句尾。

 They were playing outdoors.   他們在戶外玩耍。 

 

The naughty boy was driven out by the teacher.   那頑皮的男孩被老師輦出去。 

She will go there tomorrow. 她明天將到達那裡。    

I met my friend at the bus stop.   我與朋友約在公車站見面。           

You should go upstairs and turn right on the corner. You will see Mr. Brown's office. 

=You should go up the stairs and turn right on the corner. 

你應該上樓且在第一個轉角處右轉，你就能看到伯朗先生的辦公室。 

其他常用的地方副詞有 here, everywhere, outside, nowhere, inside, upstairs, downstairs 等。 

時間副詞               

時間副詞表動作發生之時間，通常置於句尾，亦可置於句首。    

 It rained heavily yesterday. 昨天下大雨。 

I'm studying now.我正在讀書。  

I am going to sing with Tom tonight. 今晚我將與湯姆一起唱歌。 

Last Friday, you promised me not to cheat again.         上週五妳答應過我不再作弊。 

其他常用的時間副詞有 today, lately, soon, two years ago, for an  hour 等。 

 

 副詞的比較級、最高級句型 

Judy runs as fast as Lucy. Judy 跑得和Lucy一樣快。 

The new employee works as efficiently as the previous one.   這名新員工工作效率與之前的一樣好。 

Cindy studies less harder than Mike.  Cindy 比Mike不用功。 

He drives more carefully than Nancy. 他開車比Nancy小心。    

The harder I work, the more happily I live.  越努力工作，我越生活的快樂。

John works most diligently of the three. John 在三者之中最努力工作。 

The sooner we leave, the sooner we will  arrive. 越早離開我們我早到達
