連綴動詞文法與定義

1.連綴動詞是用來「連接、點綴主詞」的動詞，故會在連綴動詞後加上「形容詞」做主詞補語，用來補充說明主詞的狀態。句型：主詞＋連綴動詞＋主詞補語.

2.連綴動詞有哪些

 

(1) be 動詞      

The book is interesting.（這本書是有趣的。）        

He is tall.（他個兒高。）

(2)表示「當下的狀態或感覺」的動詞,此類動詞的特點是中文解釋有「……起來」的意思。

連綴動詞其後可以接形容詞與like +名詞

主詞

look（看起來）
taste（嚐起來）
smell（聞起來）
sound（聽起來）
feel（感覺起來）

＋形容詞.
like＋名詞.

Your idea sounds good.（你的想法聽起來不錯。）  

 

The cat looks cute.（這隻貓看起來很可愛。）

The water smells terrible.（這水聞起來很糟。）

The juice tastes sweet.（這果汁嘗起來甜甜的。）

連綴動詞後面也可以加上like (像)此為介係詞，因此後面必須接物品(名詞)，feel like N 解釋成看起來像什麼例： The dog looks like a cat. 狗看起來像一隻貓

 

(3)  表示「轉變、轉換」的動詞, 此類動詞包括 get、become、turn ……。

The weather became hot in July.（七月天氣變得很熱。）

Leaves will turn yellow in autumn.（秋天葉子將會變黃。）

所謂的連綴動詞就是當主詞與受詞補語的橋樑，將他們倆個連接成同一句，使其有關聯，受詞補語就是補充說明主詞的狀態，因此使用形容詞來形容，當然be動詞&become後面也可以接名詞，用來表示身分。

I am a teacher. I become a teacher.

Lin became a great athlete. Lin成為一位很棒的運動員

若要詢問像什麼東西則需使用What，詢問東西的狀態則是使用 How

What does the cake taste like? 蛋糕嚐起來像什麼? It tastes like a  ice cream. 蛋糕吃起來像是冰淇淋

 

How does the cake taste? 蛋糕嘗起來怎麼樣? It tastes delicious. 蛋糕吃起來很好吃

You look angry.你看起來生氣  此為連綴動詞加形容詞

You look at me angrily.你生氣地看著我    此為副詞修飾動詞片語 look at (注視著)
